Tessa Thompson

Tessa Lynn Thompson is an American actress born on the 3rd of October, 1983 in Los Angeles. Thompson is the daughter granddaughter of the famous singer Marc Anthony Thompson, as also actor Bobby Ramos. Her childhood was spent at Los Angeles, before she moved to Brooklyn. Her mother has Mexican and British Isles origins, and her father is Afro-Panamanian. Thompson attended Santa Monica High School where she took part in a variety of theatre productions. Following her graduation, she enrolled at Santa Monica College where she earned a degree on cultural Anthropology. She performed as Juliet in Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" in a play held by the Boston Court Theatre in Pasadena, California.
