Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her part as Bo in the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk is an actress from Canada who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, who was known as an accomplished actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories are of attending play rehearsals and watching her mom work. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. When she converted to Judaism, they were married again in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk gave birth to the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron is her second son, born on the 13th of May 2016. Silk has a number of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. The actress was nominated to win a Gemini Award in 2009 to play this character. Her most notable role was as Bo Dennis, a succubus and a succubus as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the finale of the third season. Silk announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she is ready to resume working. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has an enormous following on Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its success.
