Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Tina Louise began her acting career as a stage actor in the 1950s, beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then she performed in a variety of Broadway productions, before becoming famous in the national stage area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. In 1957, she also debuted her own album entitled It's time for Tina. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was as Griselda In God's Little Acre, a 1959 drama. It received wide reviews. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. At the time, she joined the Actors Studio in New York and developed her association to Lee Strasberg as his student. The actress joined CBS in 1964, to portray Ginger Grant. Louise played a wonderful performance juggling Broadway and Hollywood. She played somber different characters, which contrasted with the glamour-doll image she was seen as. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she's also made her mark as a director of numerous popular television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was Essex on August 28, 1965. She and her family relocated to Toronto at the age of 3 and she continued to live there throughout the majority of her childhood and teenage years. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
